Condition #1: they never ask for your password
This is the filter that separates a safe purchase from a real problem. Delivering followers only requires your public profile link — nothing else. A serious provider will never ask for your password, because they don't need it.
The "I bought followers and got hacked" stories you hear don't come from receiving followers: they come from handing credentials to sites that asked for them "to process the order". If a form asks for your password, close the tab. That's the scam — not the followers.
